Flowers

After having visited those gorgeous gardens in the Blue Mountains I have been trying to increase the flowers in my garden but actually if you look closely there is a fair bit there already. All that awful rain we had in the winter seems to have been great for the flowering plants. Mind you, in typical Greenfumb style most of the flowers will actually one day be edible fruits and veges.

Kipfler potatoes

Lemons

Feijoas

Crab Apples

I'm sure there were some completely decorative things out there somewhere.

Irises I bought in the Mountains

Calistemon

Forgot to take one of the native Frangipani which is really the best of the lot.

Whatsup! I haven't visited for a while because I thought you stopped blogging. I'll have to catch up with what you've been up to. :)

I love the emergence of flowers after the lull of winter. Nice header picture too. Looks like your garden is taking off!

Takes a while, doesn't it, LOL.

Hi Chris,

I did stop because I never seemed to have time or inspiration but I found it annoying not to know what everyone was up to and I like to refer back to things that went well or not in the garden, kitchen etc

I love feijoa flowers and the fruit too, so wonderful...our feijoas are tiny still. Not a lot of sunlight. They've never flowered once in the 2 years we've had them!

Mmm spring always smells so lovely with the many flowers.
Your garden is looking so lovely, I bet it smells just as good.
Iris, dietes and agapanthus are always good esasy to grow flowering plants. A staple in my garden, as they don't need much attention ;-)
